  • Question about 30 days 30 starts

I am about to order Vienna instruments - I doubt if I will use the extended library immediately as I will be getting to know the basics. Will this mean that my trial perod will expire b4 i get a chance to peak?
    Zero

  • zero, if you purchase also a ViennaKey you will get a 180 starts demo license for all levels (standard + extended) to get up and running immediately. additionally you can request (after having registered your standard libraries) a 30 days/ 30 starts demo license for the respective collections. you can start using such date-licenses at any time you decide

  • OK So are you saying that I will also need a Vienna Key? If so how much. I already have two steinberg dongles 1] Loaded with SX3 and Halion 3, and the other currently redundant.
    Zero

  • Your Steinberg dongles will work. In short you need a key for each computer you want a VSL collection on. They are pretty cheap. $35 I think. The ViennaKeys have a demo on them, while the Steinberg SX3 key does not. So you can use that key to authorize your products, but you dont get any demo versions.

I do however beleive that you get a ViennaKey if you buy the cube. If not chances are you can convince the retailer to give you one. Additionaly VSL might offer you the demo starts if your contact their tech support and explain that your using your SX3 key. If they agree to do so they will then be able to give you some demo authorizations for your steinberg key.

  • zero, no problem to get a 180 starts demo license without purchasing a ViennaKey - we'd just would ask you to register the respective steinberg key ... as *my cousin in initials* mentioned ... contact support@vsl.co.at if the time has come
