    Does making a template (LOGIC) of tracks which contain VI plug ins, but no actual patches loaded, take up much memory?

    I'd like to have about 10 tracks with VI already on them, and just assign them to instruments as needed, but wondered if that was going to use a lot of memory on startup....

    Each one takes up about 12.5MB.

    I'm curious as to how most people work, especially on a one computer system like mine. Do you preload your VIs with "usual suspects" or keep them empty and load them on the fly?

    I'm always interested in working faster....
