Thx Paul, I do hope it will be sooner but I must say, if it means better samples I would always prefer to wait. I hate to say it but take your time if you need to.

We are working on the Organ already, the release date will be announced as soon as we see the finish line, but rest assured that it will be long before the end of the year [:)]
Best, Paul
I'd swap the cathedral organ for APP CELLI - anyone else?

No cathedral organ in the make here - we are working on one of Europe's most prestigous concert organs :

Click on "Bildergalerie" for many nice pictures of this instrument. Number 14 is a special one: The whole "wall" in the back of the orchestra is the organ (actually just 3/4 of it ... there's even more behind the audience).

That organ is amazing (bet you all get that alot [;)])
I have a question, and I hope you dont take it the wrong way - you know I love you guys. But are you sampling this organ to make profit, or are you supported/motivated in some way to do it for cultural reasons? The reason I ask is that it seems kind of like a niche market, yet I imagine the work sampling it and the man hours assmbling all the data must be unbeleivable. This just made me wonder about the financial side of things - if you beleive it to be profitable...
I know its business stuff, and that you dont want to go too mucg into details. But maybe you could still add a few comments?

Hey, stop it guys.
I'm dying for this instrument.
A little variety won't hurt you. It's about time for people to use more concert organs in there work [:P] But seriously, I can't wait to hear this organ, I just hope the samples are dry enough, sorry Dietz, I'm using convolution (digital for recordings and natural for live play). I can't wait

Yes, there is a gazillion cello stuff out there. But lately, due to some more sad reasons, I discovered the beauty of organ music. I thought the same thing: It is really strange, that organ music and the history of church music (especially the old european church music) is left in the corner. I found out, that organ music over the last millenium is a very fascinating theme. I tried to find some sample libraries that would be able to help exploring this fascination. Especially the interaction of cathedrals, organs and the spirituality and contemplationg moments. But none of the existing libraries sounded up to such a thing.
So this would be a good turn.
And I agree on the convolution.
Too old for Rock n Roll. Too young for 9th symphonies. Wagner Lover, IRCAM Alumni. Double Bass player starting in low Es. I am where noise is music. -

But still no, deep, singing lyrical cello.
