    I have definately decided to stay with gigastudio for Vienna because QLSO etc. is also going to be pc based for me(can't afford 4 new macs). I'd still like to use EXS in Logic for some instruments. Primarily I'd like to convert the pleg strings and program a dyn crossfade between the p and f layers - I really hate not having that (I know its not Vienna's fault).

    Here is my question. As I understand it, the perf. tool is built into the Logic environment with the EXS version. Can I purchase this legato tool for Logic without crossgrading to the EXS version for the above mentioned reasons?? It seems like a reasonable thing to offer, and I'm sure there are lots of others in the same boat as me. I have no qualms with you charging the extra cost you do for the reprogrammed version for EXS, but I'd rather put that money toward the pro edition giga version and do the programming myself. How can I get the EXS perf tool for Logic on its own?

    I've already also thought about this issue.
    Personally I would like to support giga users with this "crossgrade" option.
    We'll discuss it internal and keep you informed.
