    Anyone? Something quick? This may be the difference, the straw that broke the camel's back as it were, between me getting the VI's now, or waiting until the intemac towers come out.

    How is the performance of the VI's on the macbook pro?

    If people are rushed to do demos on the 1st day you may not get as interesting demo as if you would wait a few days. [:)]

    A little info. It was a rather quick test since people were asking for one fast, so it could obviously be tweaked more... But personaly I like the result quite a bit. I chose this peice becuase so many people have the impression VSL cant do hollywood sound. You be the judge [:)]

    1st and 2nd violin are AV. Apart from regular legato I also used a new patch called legato_Sfz which has a little more accent, and also used a legato patch where the players take a little time to get in tune - Its just a little effect I used on a few notes.

    tweak it to make it perfect and let it be VSLs flagship Hollywood-demo. [[:)]]

    Have you layered the Appassionata-lines with a solo violine or is that vibrato on some notes just from the Appassionata-presets (e.g. 0:14)?

    No - no Solo violin. What you are hearing is the effect of the 'slow tuning' patch where not all players play at perfect tuning. Smart little patch if used moderately.
