    I'm excited about the VSL, you seem to have really thought about what kind of sound variations are musically useful. But I DO NOT want to buy Gigasampler! I LOVE my AppleMac and I LOVE Logic and the integration of EXS24, it's so useful and inspiring to have one platform with all my music accessible. So:

    QUESTION: will the EXS24 VSL Edition be lacking any features which Gigasampler has?

    I'm thinking particularly of Release Triggers / Dynamic Layer Crossfading. Now EXS24 MkII has the very flexible modulation routings, these features and actually anything you can do with Gigasampler should be realisable: but it's a lot of work to program them all. However, I would be happy to buy VSL in EXS24 format if you guys have done all that work in advance!

    ANSWER: The EXS24mkII Edition of the Vienna Symphonic Library will have all the features of the Gigastudio Edition, and yes, we´re doing that work for you!
