Horizon Giga -> VI Mac

I've finally made the leap and bought Logic Pro. I've been running my standard sampler instruments off a PC running GIGA, and so have my Horizon stuff registered as GIGA. Now, if I start buying VIs for Logic, will I have to pay for the VI _and_ a crossgrade? More precisely, will I get the full discount for my Horizon stuff, or will I get dinged for the crossgrade. Personally, I can't see how Horizon GIGA to VI Mac/EXS could be seen as a crossgrade, since we're paying for the new technology when we buy VIs, but I thought I'd ask before I get too excited about buying VIs.

The best thing to do is check the discount calculator,

basically it doesn't matter if you have registered for giga, exs or another format - a discount on the extended part of a collection applies to a registered sample library (eg. on extended VI solo strings for horizon solo strings). no discounts apply to the standard part of a collection, this is what covers the new technilogy, so to speak.

for products from the horizon series there are sidelicenses available if you want to use it additionally on a second platform (kind of crossgrade).
using VI on a mac just needs logic (or another sequencer) but no exs
