    Misplaced my little booklet - but what exactly is the 'auto' for various patches (is this auto legato???)

    Sorry for what might be an obvious question.

    It means that the instruments are monophonic and can be played in the same way as the "legato" instruments, i.e. the following note cuts off the previous note.

    A startnote is a normal sustain, performing legato is triggeríng a fA = fast attack sustain.

    A suggestion; try loading Perf Legato in one cell and the fa Auto in another and then using cell xfade to change the sound and vibrato level for some notes. It can be a little bit unpredictable, but is great fun to play with [:D]
