    Hello,
    when I load on of the tutorial presets (file/load preset…), my VI dosn´t load any sample. In logic… the same. Can anyone help?

    did you point to lib folders in Directory Manager?

    Hi Jorgen,

    you need to place the presets in your Custom Data folder and locate that folder in the Directory Manager.

    Hello Paul,
    let me tell you, what I have done:
    - erase following preferences:
    Users/LibraryPreferences/Vienna-Instruments-Directory-Manager.plist and Vienna-Instruments-Standalone.plist
    //LibraryPreferences/com.VSL.VSL Standalone.plist and com.VSL.vsldirs1.plist and com.VSL.vslfrontend.plist
    - create Folder named Custom Data, put the Demofile VI-6_Demos.fxp in it
    - then started my VI Directory Manager, lokate the Custom Data and the VI SoloString Lib.
    - I startet my VI - Standallone App. … Prefs /driver/midi … ok, and I see the VI-6_Demos on the right Site.
    But the demo dosn´t load only the Programm without any Sample. javascript:emoticon('[[:(]]')

    I created an own userpreset too, … this file really works fine.

    Hi Jürgen,

    In the tutorial folder you should find a midifile and the .fxp files for the PC and ".aupreset" files for the mac. This aupreset files can either be placed in the Logic - Vienna Instruments plug-in settings folder in the Application Support folder, then they show up under the little triangle in the AudioUnit Server window. Or they can be placed in the Custom Data folder anywhere on your harddrive. As you already say, you have added this to the directory manager, so that they show up in your VI. Are all other Chamber strings presets showing up in the VI as well?

    currently I´m in Frankfurt so I can´t really do some tests, but I will be in Vienna on monday and check several machines with this.

    meanwhile I hope you can solve the problem.

    … oh, this was my mistake. The file was an VI-6, (I´ve load the file a few weeks ago) but I have only the SoleStrings. Sorry and best regards.
