  • Hi Jamie,

you can use any Syncrosoft Dongle, no problem. The only difference is that you don´t have a Demo License on other keys than the Vienna Key.

  • If I am only ordering one or 2 instruments what would that mean? Say I order Orchestral Strings 1...is there a demo of other stuff on there that I would need the key to access?

  • Hi,

the Demo license allows you to check out the Extended Library for 30 days.

Please write to support@vsl.co.at with a short explanation and you will receive a demo code for your key.

  • I received the SOLO Strings today that I want to use with MY Sychrosoft Truestrike key. How do I do this? I can't register on your site because it asks for a Vienna Key Number. I have a Sychrosoft number for Sam Truestrike. I want to use this key.
    Please advise.
    Thanks,

  • jamie, just use this number (sorry if the text is not clear enough) - it would be really important to know which keys you are using in case of loss or damage of a key for being able to restore your licenses

and remember: only a CRAY can run an endless loop in just three seconds.
  • Am I wrong that whether or not you can transfer licenses from one Syncrosoft dongle to another depends on the license itself? I seem to remember that not all of them support that.

  • VSL Support was pretty quick. After some detective work on my part I realized the Key number was on the key itself and not in the LCC window as I first thought. The install (after downloading the updates) went as quick as it could for 55.7 G of Data.
So far the VI is running fine under Logic and Stand Alone.
And the sounds of the solo strings are AMAZING!
    Thanks again.
    More later.

  • the license control center should also show this number, something like 123456 - in versions 5.x or above there is an addtional string seperated by a dash like - 7890AB which can be ignored so far

  • Not as easy as it seems,
mine has 9 digit, and begin with 000
So I didn't know what to enter, the procedure was not quite clear.

    But now all is ok.

  • Whew, glad I wasn't the only one. A bit confusing...a little clearer info is necessary but the sounds! It's worth it!
What a library. The VI is a major accomplishment!
