  • Hello Sangit,

the Vienna Instruments run on OSX 10.4. or higher only.
And we still have to find a solution for Cubase and Nuendo on the Mac, VST is only available for PC so far...

u're just telling me my copies i ordered from bestservice today are useless for me

    *hmpf*

  • Paul I jus got my copy today and ws wondering why the VI installer was'nt acceptiong to install it !!
I've been readidng the forums for a while and this is the first time I hear that 10.4 requirement !!
Unbelivable ! I'm on 10.3.9 fine, I'm sure I'm not the only one to be surprised and desapointed by this limitationā€¦!

  • Hi,

we have included this information in the overview desciption of the Symphonic Cube on our website:

    http://www.vsl.co.at/en-us/211/344/228.vsl

You can find it in the System requirements for every single volume of the Symphonic Cube, hereĀ“s an example:

    http://www.vsl.co.at/en-us/211/344/217.vsl

You can also find it on your box (along with the system requirements) and in all manuals.

    Best regards,

    Paul

  • hi Sangit,

a possibility for you in the meantime would be to run the Vienna Instruments as AudioUnit plug-ins in a separate AudioUnit host like RAX on the same machine as you use your Cubase and rewire audio back into Cubase. Midi is sent via the internal IAC busses.

We will be testing this options here in Vienna hopefully very soon, so we can tell exactly how it works.

we are already researching into an OS X VST version.
please understand that no definite time frame can be set, since
we assumed VST on OSX being not very widely used lately.
