    Something I've been wondering about with the hard drive editions:

    Do you actually ship the library on enormous IDE hard drives that we keep? If not how are they distributed?

    The Hard Drive Editions will ship in about one year. As technical progress develops, we will decide these questions later next year.

    High Definition DVDs might be available then so that might be an option too. (I think they're supposed to be in the 10's of GBs).

    I heard of a new technology a few years ago called FMD-ROM, promising up to 170 Gb per disk, with very high data transfer speeds. Unfortunately, my bookmarks to the site don't work anymore and I can't give you a current status report.
