    Hi there,

    There was some discussion for us who have had our PCs dedicated to GS160 until now. With GS, they have a utility that enables as much Ram as possible to be used.

    With your new VI - should that be set to XP default in GS before we run VI?

    What have your tests seen?

    we run several computers still having GS installed with no change for the memory tweaks and others with *clean* systems without any changes for memory settings .... there is no difference noticeable ....

    and remember: only a CRAY can run an endless loop in just three seconds.

    Interesting.......

    With GS tweaks installed I managed to get about 400Mb of instruments before everything crashed, and even with nothing installed I could only run empty multiple instances. As soon as I tried to load something both PCs froze and Teleport crashed. Of course this may have something to do with Teleport, but as re-setting the tweaks to XP default upped my memory usage to over 1.7Gb I couldn't be bothered to test any further [H]
