    In the matrix file called "01 VA-10 Perf Universal" I see that in the horizontal dimension there are 3 cells controlled by Speed control. But the first two cells both have the same patch in them...VA-10 pef legato. The final cell has the fast perf legato. Why do two consecutive cells contain the same patch?

    The spiccatos need more different cells in the horizontal dimension. If one articulation needs more steps, the other artciculations have to be doubled to avoid empty (= no sounding) cells.
