    Just installed VI last night and when I launch it in Logic (latest version and latest OSX OS) I noticed that when you activate the plugin (do anything in the AU interface) the midi data stops until you click back into the logic interface. Is this normal operation? I've never seen that in a AU plugin before.

    The VI AU plug-in appears to behave to a certain extent like a seperate app. Though it's RAM allocation falls within Logic as an AU but you can also open it as a standalone app to get another shot of RAM.
