How do VI's work for 1st and 2nd Violins?

I have no wish to open an old can of worms, so please consider this from a proactive POV.

How do the VI's per instrument work with 1st and 2nd vls? As far as i can see, if a module (strings 1) is installed on computer A, and contains Violins and Cellos, then from computer A as many instruments as systems allow can be loaded.
e.g, violin 1 Track 1, Violin 2 Track 2, violin 3 track 3 (for that 'horrorwood sound!'), etc.

Is this correct? Can one load as many violins as one wishes dependent on hard and software resources?

That's correct, you can open multiple instances of the same instrument.

Are the sample headers (in RAM) then shared by the different instances (as is the case with Gigastudio) ?
