  • Buying OPUS - advice needed

    Hi,

I want to go for a OPUS BUNDLE but i don't know If I need to tell Best Service shop to sell me particular copy (format) of it.
I want to be able to use those special Kontakt 2 scripts that are out... so do I have to buy some particular version of OPUS BUNDLE to download the scripts after registration or what ? [8-)]
    Help me, I'm lost. [:O]ops:

  • lukpcn, the DVDs from the horizon series come with two formats *on board* - giga and exs. when registering your product in the user area you will have to select a platform (giga, EXS, HAL, kontakt) - in case you choose kontakt you can then download the *classic* kontakt programs (for v. 1.5.x) or the scripted ones (for v. 2.x) as well as the performance tool and related manuals.

edit: i forgot to mention, that kontakt and halion use the sample database from the exs version - so the download will be a few MB only.

and remember: only a CRAY can run an endless loop in just three seconds.

So if I choose Kontakt upon registration then I will not have to pay for additional side upgrade licence to have K2 compatible scripts. Am I correct?

  • Correct [:D]
