  • From the standard lib. which inst. will be your priority?

Assuming of course you don't get the whole pie all at once, but one piece at a time, how would you set your priorities? Which instruments will you want first?

  • Pending the final articulation list which will specify what is in the standard and what is in the extended library (couldn't afford both in one go, heh), I am actually giving a good hard look at Brass II. Its just the sort of thing I need to flesh out my brass section (plus it includes the epic horns and the solo triple horn which only make it more appealing).

I had actually asked for such a package of the less 'obvious' brass instruments before, and now here it is! [:D]
And the 'standard' version is relatively affordable too, considering how many instruments are included.

  • I'm interested in one of the strings packages. With Epic Horns from Horizon my brass needs are pretty much of very low level priority. Now that the VI makes it possible to use all articulations from ONE MIDI channel, I'm not that afraid of strings anymore.
...or better put: I'm over-enjoyed that I need less staffs in Sibelius and won't have to waist as much time on programming than I need now.
I haven't written anything for strings yet for this particular reason...

  • String sections - and including the Epic Strings if they work out well.

The irritation part of all this for me is the brass sections, because I will have to get them with the new interface simply because I haven't got a clue how to use the old repetition tool.
