    JCL, this could mean your browser tries to open the linked document within a browser window, but the respective plugin is not installed. please rightclick on the link instead and select *save target as*.
    if you're on a mac just press the mousebutton longer - a dialog to download the target should appear or use ctrl-click to open a context-menu
