Yet another question:
Are you planning to do the same thing with AU/VST format as with Giga/EXS formats. I.e. - do you plan to charge a side license fee for being able to use both.
For example, I use both Pro Tools and Logic. With Pro Tools, I'll probably use a VST wrapper, but with Logic I would use AU (naturally). Since both reside on the same machine, they could access a single physical copy of the samples on the hard drive.
Therefore, would I need a side license to use both formats (as in your previous policy), or would I be able to use AU and VST without a side license (as in the approach by EastWest for example).
