    Greetings,

    Pardon my ignorance on these matters, but I have been unable to find any information on this topic, either in past forum posts or in web archives.

    Is there a possibility for a Christmas sale this year, similar to the Summer Classics promotion held some months ago? All signs currently point to no, and even were one planned, it's unlikely to be publically announced at this time, but it is still worth asking.

    Some sort of sale is virtually the only way I will be able to purchase any of the VSL libraries for the foreseeable future, so I'm holding out hope for one.

    Hi,

    I understand if the administration are a bit embarrassed to answer this question at this moment as it my slow sales too soon before Christmas. But if that's the case, would it be possible to tell us something regarding that, such as we cannot answer this so soon, or we don't know yet, rather than leaving us in the doubt? Not that I want to insist on it but it is my 4th attempt at getting your attention on this matter. [:)]

    FYI,

    There was a sale last year. There might be one this year. They will not tell you if there will be a sale.

    In another post (on the "Thanks VSL on new Libraries" thread) I mentioned that I bought the Chamber strings ten days before the summer sale. If I had known of the sale I would have waited, don't you think? Regardless, VSL offers amazing product at their current prices, so if you need something, BUY IT. You won't regret it.

    You are not being snubbed by VSL. They will not advertise in advance any sales.

    I would think that a muted brass collection is not too far off and that a sale may be a part of it's release. I'm also hoping for a Christmas sale in any case.

I realized that my question was virtually impossible for any administrator to answer before posting it, as that would be phenominally bad business practice, but hoped to gain sort of information that might help in near-future budgeting. In your reply, you were able to provide it, so I thank you.

    Much as I would like to simply buy a library/libraries at current costs, my student loan simply doesn't have room to accomodate it.
