    Hello,

    I wonder if there is anybody who has experience with a alternative midi controller (in this case the mod wheel) that can be operated with a foot-pedal. For instance with chamber strings we have some nice patches that work with the modulation wheel.
    But in this way you can only play with one hand. It would be nice to have this modulation wheel function operated with the foot-pedal so that both hands are free to play.
    Anybody?

    Can you not assign a volume pedal to Modulation via your DAW?
    Are you talking about live performance or studio recording?
    What software are you using?

    Hello Colin,

    I use Logic 7.1 and Giga 3 with VSL.
    I thought about it:
    I think I can put an extra midi controller in my masterkeyboard (Doepfer LMK3) and make an adjustment in the environment in Logic so that the modulation wheel controller information can be generated there via the foot-controller.
    My question arose because I just updated my Pro Edition with the art files and saw that a lot more can be done dynamically with the modulation wheel.
    I am a composer by the way, and I use the keyboard a lot to play things in.

    I need a foot controller in order to work with my Doepfer LMK4+.
