    Hi,,,

    After all this threads ive read, im startin to get a little confused about some aspects regardin my PC... im using Cubase SX on a PIV (HT) 3.00GHz,, 800mb bus,, 1GB ram, 64Mb video,. (now comes the tricky part), i have a soundblaster audigy 2 EX, (the one with the externalmodule), and i bought them with the 6.1 speakers,,, now, im saving money in order to get Opus 1... and since i will have to buy a sampler, i was thinkin of giga... but, (here it is), somewhere i listened that my card has ASIO 2.0 drivers, but i was wondering... WHAT IS THIS THING CALLED: "GSIF" (gigasampler interface)... does it have something to do with the audio drivers or something? and ive just emailed creative and they said that my sound card doesnt support GSIF,, this GSIF has something to do with gigasampler 3 ¿?¿?¿?

    Hope i`ll get opus 1 in the holidays season,,, december LOL

    In order to get all your samples streaming at the same time with as less delay as possible, Giga is built do 'bypass' the Kernell level of the processor...
    I don't know if my explanation is right... but without a soundcard supporting GSIF(2) you can't really use Giga. It indeed is a driver.
