    Hi,

    I'm considering upgrading to the Pro Edition before Sept. 15. I notice that the Pro Edition Performance Set has solo strings. I recently bought the Horizon Solo Strings package. Are they the same samples? If so, is there a further discount? If not, what's different about them?

    Apologies if this has been asked and answered before. I didn't find the posting.

    The performance instruments (legato, repetitions) are the same - although Solo Strings includes Double Bass and Viola... The performance set does not include all the regular articulations which the solo string package has

    The Violin and Cello are 100% from the Pro Edition, the Viola and Double Bass are strictly Horizon series. The will all be included in the Symphonic Cube, e.t.a Spring, 2029 a.d.

    Yes, so my question remains:

    When upgrading from 1st Ed. perf. set to Pro Ed. -- and also as a user of Horiz. Solo Strings -- is there a further discount for the duplicate samples (violin, viola)?
