  • Moonsinger Meetings - A new song by Hetoreyn

    Hi,

I've been musical unproductive for a while but thanks to a quick blast on World of Warcraft last night I got really inspired to write a melody. This piece is 2 mins long and uses Violins, Violas Tremalo, Cello For chords, Flute Grace note, Epic Horns for chord highlights, clarinet, harp, tam tam, mixed choir from garageband samples, and of course Hetoreyns own Concert Reverb.

I ran out of computer power to add any more intruments and the strings would sore a litle more if I could add a few more notes but it's only a first run. (I have a G4 Dual 867mhz Mirrordoor mac if anyone is wondering)

    I'd appreciate comments.

The song is 'The Moonsinger Theme (Moonsinger Meetings)'

  • Very nice music hetoreyn, good balance of sounds and nice reverb.

  • Thanks for your comments Irvind glad you liked it ;D

Anybody else care to give me their opinion. I'm looking for critique or praise whichever you think the song deserves.

    Tah

  • Listened to it three time now: once (earlier) on my main desktop machine and twice (later) on my laptop.

It's actually very effective: I don't care for the passage early on (circa 20 seconds) where it effectively stops momentarily - perhaps you could look at that again. But, as I say, it's a most impressive attempt. Well done...

  • Just as a matter of interest: you said that your computer ran out of power and that you have a Mac G4 Dual 867mhz. I've got a Dual 1.25 Ghz: would that be sufficient to cope with the Pro Edition? I'd obviously just want to start modestly at first and then, perhaps, upgrade at a later date (say 2 or 3 years time). I seem think that in fact you have the First Edition.

    Many thanks.
