  • Modwheel blends?

Ok, this is a more than likely stupid question but here it goes...

I can't seem to figure out how to get my Cubase/Kontakt to recoginize my modwheel. What do I need to do? I've tried everything my feeble mind can imagine and still no luck....any help please?

  • Hi,

it might be that you controller doesn´t send the MODWheel information, which masterkeyboard do you use? Sometimes it helps to press the panic button, or you have to find the right page to activate the ModWheel.

    Good luck,

    Paul

  • I'm using a p-60 yamaha and a m-audio expression pedal which acts as a modwheel. I'm using Cubase...I messed around with some of the different send inputs but no luck. What is the setup in using the modwheel blends....aka, tell me everything I need to do because I am dumb.

  • First of all, do you receive ANY MIDI information in your sequencer? Record a passage where you use your expression pedal and have a look in the list editor (I haope that´s what it is called in english).

This way you can tell which information the pedal handles. If it is not "ModWheel" you will need to use your MIDI functions to reassign the information. I will have to check that in the studio.

Tell me what you find out.

    Best, Paul
