Just in case someone wants more uninvited user input: the whole tone trill recordings (solo strings, chamber strings anyway) are too large for some purposes. In many cases where a trill is appropriate, the tuning would be from one note to another note about 20 cents flatter than the equal tempered whole note. This is nothing special, just standard orchestral tuning. Might be good to offer half step, whole step, and small whole step trills (and even legato intervals!!!!).
