I would like to share my idea from my VSL Steinway as an example.
like I said, you might notice when you open "close mic" and "main mic" it going to ping pong a little bit (I know that main mic come from natural room and set far away from the piano)
I try to in-phase by render to audio, quantize transient and use your delay function by slowest transient will be my main milliseconds.
Delay Calculate
Condenser = 7.7 ms
Ribbon = 7.7 ms
Tube = 6.4 ms
Mid 1 = 4.6 ms
Mid 2 = 4.6 ms
Main = 2.9 ms
Main-c = 4.7 ms
Surround = 1.1 ms
High = 1.4 ms
High-Sur = 0 ms
as you see on the Condenser ms is really delay and like I said, I know it come from natural mic space, but could it be possible to have like an in-phase from factory and not delay from my finger (0ms)?
And if you want a natural delay, you just make a button delay for natural delay mic.
God blesses
