  • Hi Michi,

I think it does make sense to consider the users of Smart Hits and Spheres for at least an additional rebate … and if those should have some of the big products … you should consider a free upgrade.

A Question … For the mentioned users … do they have to install the Samples again or will existing Samples of already purchased products be used for the presets (means no double Installation)?

    Thanks and Greetings,

    Lars

  • @michi Thanks, but what about the price? Can I buy it now or should I wait for the official release in early 2025? If I buy it now, will it be a free update or a crossgrade price for the 2025 update?

  • @LAJ and @LeanderAT: The preview about upcoming releases just holds basic information, details like upgrade options and pricing would be announced with our Newsletter, as always.

    Best, Michael

  • Hello,

I own Vienna Smart Orchestra, all the BBO bundles, Duality Strings, everything in Smart Series.

When I login, I see that I have to pay 120 euros to get the Synchron Smart Orchestra - although all videos say it is free for someone who owns the Smart Orchestra

    What am I missing.

    Thanks7

  • It's free if you previously owned synchron smart orch 1.0, not if you owned vienna smart orchestra.

I'm in the same boat, I see 120 euros, despite owning practically every VI and Synchron library that exists...so I think that is just the way it is...

I would like to know if 120 Euros is a temporary sale price or if that will be the ongoing normal cross grade price

  • Also, the new version includes two other Vienna Smart Series add-ons. Make sure after installing your upgrade, that you check Vienna Assistant again, as it will then show you the two additional items to install.

Very awesome that this upgrade is free! I don't remember what the original Smart Orchestra upgrade cost to the Synchron version, but the current crossgrade pricing seems well in line with what is on offer, for those who didn't do the previous upgrade.

  • I understand that the Synchron Smart Orchestra 2.0 comes with 2 add-ons - Smart Hits and Smart Spheres.

What is disappointing is I own both those add-ons which I already paid for.

So I have to pay 120 euro (which goes up after sale) just for bundling it with Flow.....

I am sorry.. I am not going for it..

    Hi BacherakJ,

Obviously you've missed that you'd get the Synchron Smart Orchestra as well, which is a different library than the Vienna Smart Orchestra. So, the value for you is much higher for a very fair crossgrade price.

    Best, Michael

  • Hi Mike,

I understand I get Synchron Smart Orchestra - which also includes some solo instruments (which by the way I already paid for !!!).

My only question is 120 euros.. That's all..

Thank you for your quick response

    Regards

    BacherakJ

  • I also bought Smart Spheres, which I use, as well as Smart Orchestra v1, which I do not. For me there would be no value at all in buying Smart Orchestra v2, except apparently to have continued access to Smart Spheres.

Why would your access to Smart Spheres cease?

    Just a beginner

Maybe it is just a bug in Vienna Assistant -- it prompted me to update Smart Orchestra. I obeyed, and it didn't update -- because I don't have a license for Synchron Smart Orchestra, and they haven't thought to convert v1 to Studio Smart Orchestra, maybe. Maybe Smart Spheres will return.

    bug in Vienna Assistant

I ran the update installer and it did extremely efficient job of deleting Smart Spheres. Adding insult to injury.
