Hi there,
Is there an obvious reason why VEP7 is limited to 16 midi ports while my preferences are set at 32 ports per instance?
Thanks

Hi, if understand you correctly you have 32 midi ports per instance. Each port supports 16 midi channels. So every instance can host 32*16 midi channels, Midi ports is not the same thing as midi channels.

Hi Matsod,
I know, I have the preferences at 32 ports per instance and it gives me 20 ports of 16 channels (not 16 ports as written in the previous message).
Hi Vox, that is really strange. If I set up like your example I have 32 ports as my screenshot above. My VEP version is 7.3.3725.
Sounds like a problem for VSL-support in that case.
Just out of curiosity, why would you want to have that many midiport per instance?
