I'm not aware that anyone else has encountered this issue, but when I try to load the Synchron Player VST in REAPER, either as a new instance or with existing projects, all I get is a black screen in the main layout. No sound is played back when I play my existing projects.
I am on Windows 10 and updated Synchron Player to version 1.3.1865 just recently, since which this issue has arisen.
Has anyone got an idea what might cause this and how to fix it? Thank you all!

The version shown at the top says 1.3.1577, so I'm guessing it didn't update properly, or you have to reboot for it to finish changing some files that were in use when you updated.
Thank you for your help. I updated it again to the latest version, but it's now got even worse - it crashes REAPER entirely...
