Dietz, is the following a feature or a graphics bug? If the latter, is it unique to my system, or is it more widely observed?
Icon titles are visible at a low zoom.
The titles become highlighted at a medium zoom (which often obscures the letters).
And then at higher zoom, the icon titles disappear. The only signal as to what is chosen is a small downward wedge.

no, I have never encountered this behaviour myself, and I don't remember reading similar reports before, sorry to say so.
Please make a short screen-cast (or a few screenshots) demonstrating the issue, let Vienna Assistent create a system report and send it all to support@vsl.co.at. VSL's software engineers will look into the issue ASAP.

After posting, in the next session, it just went away and never came back. I had also noticed titles disappearing and reappearing when I’d drag the MIR window from one monitor to another (with different resolutions). That too has stopped.
Like seeing Bigfoot in the wild, I should have gotten video while I had the chance.
For lack of any other forum response, this bug is likely rare and possibly unique to my graphics and monitor array.
