  • Thanks for the info. I've never had to adjust window size. Adjusting it as you mentioned does indeed restore proper formatting. However, just as Eric NE reported, it does not retain your adjustment even when selecting other instruments within the same instance/server project.

Hi! That's not really an issue — that's the player's actual behavior. Kindly note that the two screenshots show the player in two different sizes, and the GUI does adapt to the window size. Click on the bottom right corner and drag to resize the windows to your liking. You will find that the cells adjust in height. Best, Andreas

  • Exactly what i wanted to report as well.

  • Same issue for me @Andreas8420 -- thanks!

  • Have you withdrawn the 1.3.1657 update because of this issue, because I cannot update from 1.3.1577? The installer seems to run, but no actual update takes place and there are no error messages.

  • Edit: Never mind. Rebooting the computer fixed whatever needed fixing. All good now.

I have the same problem: every time I reopen the plugin GUI from Studio One a gigantic black window appears with the Synchron Player view inside.
If I change the size from the Synchron Player top bar button then the gigantic black padding disappears, but it returns once closing and reopening the plugin GUI.

The worst thing is that NO SOUND(!) is coming out anymore from Synchron Player, neither from within Studio One nor from the standalone Synchron Player app.

    What's happening?

Update: the no sound issue seems to be related to custom user Synchron Player presets: by opening any of them after updating to 1.3.1657 no audio is being sent out (O.o) while the factory presets continue to work.
I have reverted to 1.3.1577 version but the issue is still present so my presets are no working anymore.

  • Update: the no sound issue has been resolved thanks to VSL support!

Ah, I see. Yeah, that's not right - we will look into it right away. Thanks for the report, @svegliando & @Eric NE

    Hi Andreas,

The 1.3.1674 release, as far as I'm concerned, solves the issue.

I've been able to play around with the flow view and I really enjoy it.

The GUI is very clear, readable and easy to use.
It appears almost "empty". Maybe, I regret the nice blurred instrument pictures of the Synch player 😉

The bottom CC values which are in the round buttons shadow could be a little bit darker for my taste...

The sound quality and control seem very promising, so I am going to try to adapt one of my Dorico's scores to this new environment. I need to modify several lines of my expression maps to control the instruments and their performance.
The only restriction I see, for the moment, is the lack of vibrato control.
I hope it could be introduced soon or later...

Thank you and your team for this new release.

    Best regards

  • I confirm the 1.3.1674 release solves the problem 😀

  • Nope - 1.3.1674 does not solve the problem here...
