Is the any issue with using synchronized special editions with other sustaining SYNCHRON instruments in Dorico...
Say, umm, SE solo strings, but adding the new SYNCRON Solo Violin and Cello to a quartet?
Will key switching work with using both sets?
I assume the SYNCHRON Piano /organ will work easily enough?

You can easily combine SYNCHRON-ized Special Edition Solo Strings with Synchron Solo Strings. Dorico Wizard will analyse your installed libraries and gives Synchron Solo Strings a higher priority.
Keyswitches are sent automatically according to your notation marks.
Synchron Pianos can easily be integrated in Dorico.
Synchron Organs can also be integrated, but you have to take care of switching registrations yourself.

To be clear--- I don;t know what "priority" means in this context.
I set the New synchron solo violin as 1st violon. I set the synchronized SE solo violin 1 as 2nd violin, SE solo viola, New SYNCHRON solo cello AS CELLO.
No priority. Just play what I've registered. Will this work? Can they be COMBINED AND PLAY TOGETHER, USING THEIR OWN KEYSWTICHING?

A higher priority in Dorico playback templates means that these instruments get loaded instead of others. For example if you have SYNCHRON-ized Special Edition Vol. 1 and Synchron Solo Strings (Violin and Cello), for a string quartet the Dorico playback template would automatically load Synchron Solo Violin to tracks 1 and 2, SYNCHRON-ized Special Edition Solo Viola to track 3 (because there is no Synchron Solo Viola) and Synchron Solo Cello to track 4. You could then easily replace the second violin with SYNCHRON-ized Solo Violin if you want to. It's no problem to combine instruments from different libraries in one project.

Great! So it works a little different, but the user can manipulate instruments ((one would hope!)and the keyswitching IS NOT a problem--at least between the VSL products I mentioned.
