For Dorico: Dorico Wizard
I have no selection of most of my installed instruments in Dorico Wizard. So I can not do the wizard for synchron solo cello.
Any direct download page for expression maps only???
Installed:
Wizard:
Hello PSS!
The Synchron Solo Strings and the Synchron Percussion 3 settings for Dorico should show up for you too. Our developer will take a look what might be the problem there. In the meantime you can show them by unchecking "Installed products only" at the top. Then you can select these products too.
Best regards,
Andi
I got the new solo violin and cello. Overall, they sound very good. It appears that the legato patches are softer than many of the other articulations. I hope there is an easy way to get the legato playing to match the rest of the instrument in terms of volume.
I cannot find a way to play progressive vibrato. How is this made possible? Is there a Manuel for the violin? Perhaps reading through this material will help me with some new features.
Did the open strings get recorded? I only hear the open G and C on the instruments.

I have just heard from our developer that maybe the display hasn't be updated. It might be enough to uncheck/check the "Installed products only" checkbox or to restart Vienna Assistant.
Best regards,
Andi
No help, same list appears.
Also, when the wizard told I have templates that can be deleted, I said yes and now when I open a .dorico file I work on, I get
The score plays back ok, phew! I have tried to find a setting that get rid of this error, but Templates and other setups do not show anything about synchron strings pro.
This is a mess. If I can not get solo cello work with Dorico I have no use for it.
I have learned to use expression maps when setting score up, I have mixed sounds from Aaron Venture, Noteperformer, VSL and Berlin. I do not use playback templates as they do not merge well.

I really like the sound quality and warmth.
Is there a ponticello switch hidden there somewhere?
Hello esperlad and PSS!
Progressive vibrato, open strings and sul ponticello are not included in Synchron Solo Strings.
@PSS: You can disregard the error message that you have posted. We have explained it in our tutorial.
https://www.vsl.info/en/tutorials/guides/dorico-integration/quickguide#installation
Please create a Vienna Assistant Support file and send it to us. Then we can take a closer look why Synchron Solo Strings and Synchron Percussion 3 are not displayed for you in the Dorico Wizard. Here's how you can create a support file.
https://www.vsl.info/en/tutorials/faqs/technical#va-support-file
Anyway, did you try what I have suggested and uncheck "Installed products only"? This way you can show and enable all libraries that we have Dorico settings for.
Best regards,
Andi

Sent the file, thanks.
"Installed products only" checkbox makes no difference to list content.

"Installed products only" checkbox
I don't think this checkbox is functional. I don't have Synchron Strings I installed, but it doesn't show up when I uncheck the box.
Also, in the message box you get when opening the Wizard is also non functional. Checking it to not see the message about deleting unused templates doesn't produce that result.
Hello again!
The "Installed products only" checkbox is fully functional on all the computers we have tested it with.
@PSS: Please send a screenshot what Dorico Wizard looks like when you uncheck this box. Please reply to the auto-response that you have received.
@Bill: There are no settings for Synchron Strings I. So it's normal that this library doesn't get added to the list.
@PSS: It's completely off-topic, but as you have brought it up here. It's no bug that "Mallets" gets listed twice under "Sizzle Zil. K 18". Only one kind of mallets has been recorded here. To keep the keyswitches compatible, it has been added twice.
Best regards,
Andi

Sorry about that off-topic question.
