Hi all, VEP does not recognize my usb ilok after updating to the latest version and will not open. I have 2 ilok usb's but neither of them work!!!! everything worked with an earlier version so I am stuck. Will I have to buy a new ilok usb?

Have you logged into the iLok Manager? You'll be able to see if your USBs are being recognized. I'm sure they're fine. Make sure VEP is activated. You might try deactivating and reactivating it, or moving it to the cloud and back.

Hi Bill, I do not know about the cloud, I have only had this problem since I updated my software to 7.3 . I removed this software and reinstalled the old one and bingo it worked. I have bought a new m3 iMac which does not want to work with logic pro 11 on AU3 which it will not open. I beginning to wonder why I bought the new one or perhaps I should go back to my old 2017 imac which worked fine.

So they say but dammed if I can make it work, like I said it worked well on my old mac but this silicon chip model it’s not happy with. Maybe my wife is going to get a new M3 and I’ll have my old one back which I never had any trouble which begs the question why did I need a new one !!!!!!! Which version of VEP are you using?
