Today Vienna Assistant is showing me new updates of a bunch of different libraries:
I'm going to install these now, but is there any way to find out what has changed? There doesn't seem to be a changelog like there is for new versions of the Synchron Player and things like that.
You're right, I noticed the same.
The changelogs are saying nothing about updates in May 2024, especially Synchron Brass, which had an update file of over a GB.

It looks like a bug to me, like Vienna Assistent sometimes forgets the version of the installed products, and therefore displays updates to install. I had to reinstall Synchon Duality Strings recently (it showed as "unistalled"), and I paused the process in the middle because I had to leave. When I restarted the computer, all notifications were gone and the libraries were installed perfectly.

Thanks, andi. How about the VSL for Dorico? I notice that that was updated as well on May 6. It would be great to get some information as to what has changed as in some cases I have made my own maps that are slight variations on the VSL maps.

Here is the changelog for the VSL for Dorico Installer.
- Updated Duality Strings Expr. Maps and Endpoint Config for Expansion.
- Added three "Virtuoso" articulations (Martele, Ricochet and Saltando) to Duality Strings Maps.
- Fixed Endpoint Config "SYzd SE 1 - Brass". Wrong presets have been loaded for some instruments.

Hi Andi,
The Horn 2 Lyrical Legato seems to be broken now with these latest Brass updates. I now get a big red "X" in that slot. The Horn 1 Lyrical Legato is fine.

I'm having the same issue. Lyrical legato from Horn 2 is missing since the last update.

I must confirm the issue with Horn 2 Lyrical legato. We will look into it. If you need this patch now, you can delete the following file in the meantime:

Is there any news on this? I can't find any changelogs that would detail what in the Synchron libraries was updated recently. I already installed them without knowing about these problems, but the detail would be helpful for me to decide whether to actually use the updates.
