  • How to easily find the length of a sample

I'm having great fun using the stretch function to finetune legato and portamento, however unless you know exactly how long a sample is, you're really flying blind - thinking in milliseconds and trying to use your ears to detect in the blink of an eye where the sample might be speeding up and slowing down.

It would be great if there were some visual representation of the waveform in the stretch window so we could see exactly what part of the envelope we're adjusting but, until that day comes: is there a way to quickly check the length of any given sample? Even better, a resource with a list of the lengths of every single sample would be amazing. Bit ambitious perhaps.

Nonetheless, I'm really enjoying playing with it. What a great feature

  • Hi @mrgatenby

Thank you for your feedback and for sharing your feature idea. As for your other question, I am afraid with way above 10+ million samples, a list like that is a "bit too ambitious". 😉
