Today's movie matinee is my performance of Jerry Goldsmith’s “Imhotep” cue from the movie “The Mummy” (1999). I think this is my first movie demo with some fun horror elements.
I mostly used the main Synchron Libraries (Brass, Percussion, Woodwinds) and the Synchron Duality Strings (regular) along with some Synchron Elite Strings during the divisi passages. I also used a little Synchron Duality Strings Colors in a few places. I layered some Duality Strings Colors violins playing ponticello longs and tremolos (0:18- 0:40 & 3:05-3:40). I also layered some Duality Strings Colors violins playing flautando (1:05-1:24 & 2:32-2:52). Also of note-- I used the Basso Profundo choir for the lower men’s chorus parts.
