    Hello. I trust that you are all having a marvelous Friday.

    Currently my USB dongle and VEP are located on the same PC that my DAW is installed on.

    I would like to test out a master / slave scenario. How exactly should I proceed? Is it as simple as de-activating VEP on the current PC and activating VEP on the new server? And, if I should need to revert to my current setup do I do the reverse.

    Your time and assistance will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Peter,

    Yes, it's indeed as simple as that:

    1) Install VE Pro on both computer (with your Vienna Assistant)

    2) Install the latest iLok License Manager as well

    3) Move your key containing the VE Pro license to the networked computer.

    You can always revert, no problem.

    Also, if you get a second VE Pro license and use it, e.g., with the iLok Cloud, you'll have an even more flexible system.
