due to popular demand, they have ported viPro to Apple Silicon already. I think it will be around, but probably won't get any/many feature updates rolling forward.

I hope that the problem with long solo string notes is going to be fix, if not I will not buy anymore VSL library

This is not a "problem" and therefore will not be "fixed", as the library works as intended.
If you need longer sustains you can either
- re-trigger the note while holding the sustain pedal
- upgrade to SYNCHRON-ized Solo Strings which includes looped variants.

This is the joke of the day, !! Shame on VSL
I AM VERY DISAPOINTED
How can you say : "it works as intended" have you ever seen a violonist with a sustain pedal ?
You need to provide a sustain pedal to all your violonistππππππππππππ
What is a double problem is you need to defined the number of notes of the repetition depending on how hard the bow is played !
In addition, there is no upgrade Path to get Synchron String ; you need to pay another 740β¬, you take your loyal clients for gogos
- I have Spitfire Demo ; the solo string are making perfect loop without a sustain pedal, listen to the demo I have send to Marnix
I wanted to insert the test I made but the new editor does not reconize MP3 on Mac

Crossgrade Prices

It was the VERY low crossgrade costs from VI series to Syzd that enticed me. It was pretty much a no-brainer to make the small investment towards securing future development and support of these libraries. If I was able to catch the crossgrade during an introductory sale, which I did with Solo Strings, it was next to nothing.
Synchron - Woods, Brass, Perc I, Str Pro, Elite Str, Duality Str & Sordino, Prime Studio - Woods, Perc, Solo Str, Ch Str, Orch Str, App Str, Harps, Choir Studio Dim - Brass, Strings VE Pro, MIR Pro 3D, Vienna Suite Pro Cubase 14, Studio One 6, Dorico 5 -
I have upgrade my VI Solo string to Solo String Synchron-ized when It was availlable, months ago.
I was intending no to use Synchron-ized libraries because I use MIR PRO 3D.
I have check that Solo String Synchron-ized are looped so the problem is solved.π
Why not fixing VI Solo String ? it's VSL reputation !
Are they other instruments that has the same problem ?

The Synchron-ized libraries work great with MIR PRO 3D. Go into the "MIXERPRESET" tab and choose the "MIR Unprocessed" mixer preset:
That turns off all reverb and processing in the Synchron player so that you can do the processing in MIR instead - soundwise it makes it essentially identical to using the VI player.
I have moved completely from VI libraries to Synchron-ized, and I use them all in MIR PRO 3D with this "MIR Unprocessed" mixer preset.

I did know this,
why do I keep using VI instead of Synchron... is because of the perf_leg patches
