I just bought the VPC1, and there is an issue with the Kawai F-30 sustain pedal and sending continuous CC#64 messages. I have replaced the pedal thanks to Sweetwater, but the issues still exist. I have tested in other VST instruments, like East West Play with their pianos, and there is no issues. I have tried in Pianotecq 8, and there are no issues there either. It is only in Synchron pianos. I then updated and my next battle is to try and figure out why my samples wont load now....

There is a known set of issues with the Fatar F-30 pedal set which was fixed with a new optical model for the Kawai SE series but not for the VPC1. The F-30 sends out steps - ie it is not truly continuous - only 4 or 5 jump steps. This may be the cause of interference with Synchron expecting a smooth 0-127 transition.
Most pro VPC1 musicians employ a Roland DP10 direct into the stereo pedal and this gives reliable CC64 0-127 output, and just use the sus and soft pedals as on/off switches - which is all they are anyway.
If using a Yamaha or Korg half pedal then a polarity reversal switch is needed.

they also sell usb switches which would cure the issues if recording to a DAW. And allow multi pedal arrays via usb.

He supplied the original 96 note MK22 to VSL. He has a new 76 note keyboard out just now.
He may have some old Fatar pedals that could be modified for your use. Or other suggestions.
