Synchron Player Videos - how to make a custom preset

I sat down this evening to spend some time learning Synchron Prime - found the reference to the tutorial materials and downloaded them. Also noted the requirement to create a custom setting in Synchron Player before trying to use the files.

Step 1 was apparently to watch the Synchron player videos I followed the link and the only videos that mention Synchron Player are as shown in the picture attached.

Am I supposed to watch these videos about time stretching or the ones for Synchron Strings I?

As learning about how to use the basics of Synchron Player would appear to be an entry level thing surely BSL can point us to exactly which video is the useful one?

So i skipped to the next step shown in the Synchron Player manual picture attached another problem the 'Copy root slot' shown there doesn't show up. Has this been changed in an update of Synchron Player?
