... although when you get a notification about a new post in a thread and you click on it, the notification takes you directly to the post after yours in the same thread, so if there have been (sometimes many) others in the meantime, you have to scroll down (and change page sometimes) to find the latest post in the thread in question.

Some forums take you directly to the last post you were notified about. I personally find this better. 😀
