Hi,
I'm currently in transition from Pro Tools to Reaper and finding some niggles trying to settle VEP 7 into Reaper.
Specifically, I had a lot of intermittent clicks, pops and distortion which I fixed by unticking a couple of Reaper preferences. My current issue is a momentary volume surge (no distortion) from VEP audio outputs whenever I press Reaper's stop button. Not a showstopper but irritating nonetheless. I've been used to a flawless experience with VEP in Pro Tools for years so it's somewhat unnerving and puts me back on the fence with committing to Reaper as I really enjoy having VEP in my workflow (not to mention VI Series libraries and MIR 3D).
I read somewhere that Reaper is officially unsupported by VSL, and that is fair enough. But if anyone has a list of tips and tricks to make it play nice, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
