    For example in my current project I have 12 instances in my server. When I load my VE Server in the morning, the Automation Panel is open on each of the 12 instances. I almost never use the VE Automation Panel (it's great, just doesn't fit my personal work flow). So every day I have to manually close 12 of these open Automation Panels to free up the useful screen real estate.

    A couple solutions come to mind:

    * Whether the Automation Panel is open/closed persists from the previous session.
    * There's an option in Preferences for 'Automation Panel is open/closed on launch'.

    I'm fine with any solution that saves me having to close all these Automation Panels all the time!!  <grin!>

    Or maybe there's already a solution to this scenario that I couldn't find. That would be best of all!
