  • Different types of reverb in Synchron Player

    Hi,

Some of the Synchron presets use the dedicated Reverb at the end of the Mix tab, while other use an Aux channel with a reverb effect in it.

I can't find a detailed description of these effects, and their recommended use. Which is the difference between the two reverb processors? When one is recommended over the other?

  • I'm still wondering about these two reverbs. I can't understand the rationale behind their use in the various VSL presets. I would guess that it is the same algorithm as the Room Reverb in the Aux, but with less controls, and to be used if you don't want to access deep editing. But I'm not sure.

  • I found this old thread of mines, and I think I should answer to myself. When the reverb is the global one, it is allied to the full signal as a whole, as a sweetener adding tail. When it is in an Aux channel, only some of the mics (usually the Close/dry ones) are sent to the algorithmic reverb, to blend them better with the Room (wet) mics.
