Hi there!
1. Yes, kind of. You could upgrade to the SYNCHRON-ized Special Editions if you want to use the Synchron Player.
- MIR Pro 3D: This is a mixing and reverberation engine, where you can freely place instruments on a stage of captured venues. This will work with any dry-ish sound sources, like studio recordings, and VI or SYNCHRON-ized libraries, as well as many 3rd party libraries that are dry. Video:
- Vienna Suite: This is an FX plugin suite with compressor, eq, reverb, exciter and more
2. You can upgrade to the SYNCHRON-ized series. This is a re-edited variant of the VI library, compatible with the new Synchron Player, also including different mixer presets, so you can use them now out of the box.
The Synchron Series are new samples, recorded at Synchron Stage Vienna in situ, and with many mic options included. Since these are completely new and different products there are no upgrade discounts available form the VI or SYNCHRON-ized series.
Best, Ben
