    Hi!

    Where can I increase the volume of the VST? Master Volume (CC7) is set to 124...but it is way softer than other VSTs.

    Playing a midi with 124 velocity has a peak of -16 DB with four notes played at the same time.

    Is it normal that the VST is low in volume?

    Hi, 

    The volume of our instruments is in relation to the other instruments in the orchestra. 

    You can always use a bit of additional gain to make it louder (e.g., with an inserted Limiter, just using the gain),

    Various tools available in different hosts.

    Hi!

    I talked to someone who has VSL Orchestral Strings in Vienna Ensemble with MirX and everything is loud.
    Maybe the midi track lowered the volume because something uses CC7?

    Seems only one is soft. I tried VI Inspiration Presets -> All strings legato...and only pLeg shows up...which might be piano legato? So it is soft...only tried that patch when I wrote this post. :)
