Mac OS 13

Hi Cyril!
As usual with new OS releases, we will have to properly test the live build (which was released an hour ago) over the next weeks. So far, the beta versions of Ventura have worked fine on our systems. If you want to give a brand-new OS a go, I suggest you use a separate partition for now - and don't forget to back up your working system first. If you have deadlines to meet and/or work with 3rd party software/hardware, we highly recommend holding off upgrading for a while.
Best regards,
Andreas

I installed it on my sandbox Mac Mini M1, and all seems to work (slowly as usual due to lack of native code, so passing the Rosetta bottleneck) fine.
So far so good, but it's early to say... I won't upgrade my main workstation Mac Studio yet, waiting for consolidation and companies/users feedback on the web.

I just installed Ventura on my MacStudio, and everything went well except for an issue with iLok.
iLok has a deamon helper that Ventura refused to run because it felt the file might be corrupted, so my iLok licenses would not open. This can happen when a file has changed since it was installed. Once I figured out that iLok was the issue, all I had to do was go to iLok.com and download and install the latest release. Then everything worked fine.
This update seems to do a lot of file checking for possible corruption. Thought this info might save others some time.
